Dr. Shepard graduated with honors from the University of Texas – Austin in 1974. He received his MD from SUNY-Downstate in Brooklyn. He performed his internship and residency in surgery at Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center. He then trained as a resident in urology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Shepard is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
