Dr. Elliott Lieberman is a Board Certified urologist who has been in private practice since 1981, following residency training in such institutions as Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and SUNY Downstate-Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he received an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, and SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine, from which he was granted his MD degree in 1976.
Dr. Lieberman practices general urology in Plainview, New York. He was named to the first edition of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in the New York Metro in 1994 and in all subsequent editions of that guide. He has also been listed in the Guide to America’s Top Physicians, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and several other publications that acknowledge the contributions of physicians. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the New York State Urological Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Medical Society.
In addition to private practice, the doctor has served a number of administrative positions at Plainview Hospital, including terms as Co-Chief of Urology for 14 years and Chairman of the Medical Board for 5 years. He is currently the Director of the Department of Surgery at the hospital.
Dr. Lieberman is proud to have been a founding member of Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, and he has been Vice-Chairman of its Board of Managers since the corporation’s inception, having served on a number of the Board’s Committees.
